Crosspoint Community elders
Crosspoint Community Church is blessed to have an elder team who are truly dedicated to Christ and accomplishing His will. Following are brief bio's of our leadership team and their qualifications for ministry.
Jonathan came to serve as Crosspoint Community Church's Associate Pastor in August 2012. He also works in a family business with Fayette Medical Supply.
The attributes that best describe Jonathan as a pastor are people-centered, compassionate and all things tech. He has expressed a burning desire to serve at Crosspoint Community Church where biblical views are embraced and encouraged, with a community that cares about the needs of those around them and who want to connect Crosspoint with our community. Jonathan takes authentic relationships very seriously, knowing that life-change takes place in Life Groups.
He graduated from Texas A&M.
Jonathan is happily married to Hannah. They have 4 Kids: Sparrow, Ellia, Joel, & Judah.
Paul had been serving full time in Christian ministry at Tejas Camp and Retreat since 2005. He has been leading as executive director since 2013 and received a master's in Organizational and Global Leadership from York College in 2018. His pride and joy are being married to his high school sweetheart Kelli and raising his five kids, Isaac, Christian, Silas, Julia and Thaddeus. As elder, Paul enjoys being a small part of how God is working in La Grange and the surrounding communities.
Chris became the Lead Pastor of Crosspoint in August 2016. He came to La Grange after serving at The Bridge Church & Bear Valley Church in Littleton, CO.
The attributes that best describe Chris as a pastor are an engaging, life-relevant Biblical teacher, team builder, and coffee aficionado. He desires to see Crosspoint Community Church be an authentic, grace-filled family that is actively involved in the community to point people to Jesus. He believes that kids and students are the church of today.
Chris loves being able to spend time with his family - coaching or cheering on Lauren and Landon as they play softball, baseball, football or whatever game breaks out. He also enjoys working out, playing any sport imaginable, fishing, reading, and coffee. He is also an Affiliate Faculty Member in the Biblical Studies Department at Colorado Christian University.
Chris has earned a B.A. in Bible and Biblical Languages from Howard Payne University (Brownwood, TX), an M.Div. from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Ft. Worth, TX. and D.Min. in Leadership from Gateway Seminary (formerly Golden Gate Baptist Theological Seminary).
