Hey y’all. My name is Denese Cooper and I am currently on staff as the Financial Manager. My husband, Mike, volunteers his time as an Associate Pastor and helps anywhere else that he is needed. We truly love our church and our community. We are also leading a Young Adult Community Group in La Grange.

Mike and I lived in La Grange from 2014 to 2019. We transferred with our government jobs to Miami, Florida, and then to Jesup, Georgia. I retired in Jesup in 2021 as the Business Administrator. We then moved to College Station, Texas, where Mike retired in 2023 as the Supervisory Chaplain. We’re now back where we have built our forever home in West Point. We are so excited to be home and involved with Crosspoint Community Church again.

We are blessed with five amazing children, three grandsons, and another grandson on the way. Our children and grandchildren are the main reason we’re back, and we wouldn’t have it any other way. Our grandchildren certainly make life so much sweeter.

In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with our children, grandchildren, granddogs, working on projects around our property, and participating with the Woven Ministry.
