Icebreaker: “Favorite Things”
Have each participant share their favorite book, movie, or hobby and why they enjoy it. This
activity helps participants connect on a personal level and sets a relaxed tone for the study.

Have a volunteer read Luke 6:46-49 aloud to the group. Encourage everyone to follow along in
their Bibles.

1. Understanding the Passage:

● What does it mean to build your life on the rock, according to this passage?
● How can we ensure that our foundation is strong and secure in Christ?

Application
