My name is Scott Schultz. I grew up locally in the country between La Grange and Round Top. I attended Round Top–Carmine ISD, graduating in 1980. After college, I moved away to work in the electricity/energy industry and met my wife, Lori, who is from Houston. We just celebrated our 40th wedding anniversary last year. We lived in Waco and Georgetown for over 25 years and moved back here in 2012. We own and operate our local real estate brokerage, Schultz Texas Properties.
We have three daughters and sons-in-law and six grandchildren. I have served in other church leadership positions, such as elder at Hill Country Bible Church Georgetown while we lived in Georgetown. Lori and I also led a small group for a number of years while attending Hill Country. Lori is currently involved in Woven Ministry and is also a children’s ministry director at Bible Study Fellowship (BSF) in Bastrop. I am currently a deacon at Crosspoint and assist Jonathan Hernandez in leading the Discover New Habits (201) class.
I enjoy helping others come to a meaningful, in-depth relationship with Christ and am excited to once again be called to serve in the leadership of one of God’s family of believers committed to Him.
